clown tang experience?

Anybody have any experience with the clown tang? I stumbled across this beautiful fish on liveaquaria and it says expert only due to it needing pristine water and aeration. Are they really that touchy? Or are they just a bit more sensitive? Any input would help.

They are extremely difficult to keep alive for any extended amount of time. They are also very mean, get very big and require a huge (300+ gal) tank.
