Convict cihlids

I really love the appearence of the convict cichlid but have been put of by how much fry the are 'meant ' to have however I am thinking about gettting to for my 15 gal tank, I dont know if they will be in there permanantly but it would be for a good amount of time.

I personally think they will be fine in a tank this size but what do you guys think ?

Personally, I wouldn't put two convicts in this size tank unless they were an established breeding pair and even then this tank would be a bit on the small side for them. A 20 gallon long or 30 gallon long would be a better choice of tank for an actual pair.
