How many Cory's can a 10 gallon tank can live safely. My son has a total of 7. Is this ok or to many?

2 mollies
7 corys
1 mystery snail

Depends on the corys. With pygmy corys, such as corydoras habrosus, they're so small that I think that 7 would be fine. Commonly kept corys, such as c. aeneus, would get too large to be kept in those numbers in a 10g, especially with black mollies, which can get to about three inches.

In short, I think you're probably overstocked. (Others may disagree) Have you tested your water quality and do you change a portion of the water weekly?
