Wyoming Native Tank

30gal tank that contains a mix of native Wyoming invertebrates, minnows, plants, and crayfish. Not real happy with the final outcome at this point, but its a start.

I just noticed that my one cray I've got in a growout tank for misc. Africans is berried! She's got about 20-30 dark brown eggs under her tail. I was wonderin why she was actin so shy lately and when i did see her she would walk around with her tail tucked underneath but now once every couple seconds she'll lift and fan the eggs then tuck n walk. COOL STUFF!!! anyone have any tips for helping her go full term and rearing the young?
I dont even know if the eggs r fertile. I hope so. There are 3 other crays in this tank. Should i relocate her or the others? So many questions. Any input is welcomed. I'll try to get pics when she allows. Lol

Electric blue crawfish. 75 gallon

The young will eat each other and the Tankmates will eat the young.

You won't end up with many adults, but I should think the parents would leave the young alone.

Good luck :)

I think it's very pretty. A little under stocked :p but that's never a bad thing.

How do you keep him so blue?! Every time I get one, it turns brown! I've heard feeding live food such as BW helps but never had any success.

What are in the last two pictures?

What can I put with crayfish

Too vague a question !
There are MANY species of Crayfish. Some need their own tank without fish. Please read about Crays before you pick on just on looks.

Crays range from tiny to big and very aggressive.

You tank would not be good for a Cray of any kind. Poorly stocked.

I Tie zucchini to a rock and my plecos and crawfish love it, other than that he eats whatever brine shrimp fall to the bottom when feeding my fish. I'm not sure if that has to do with him keeping his color, but it may.
