Ok so here's what's happend so far

Filled tank on 30 Dec
Added LR on 4 Jan
Test Ammonia and Nitrite for the first time today -

No2 was somewhere between .05 and .1 really hard for me to distinguish
Ammonia was 0

Where would that put me in my cycle?

When we set up our tank. We pulled the filter off of our old tank which was already cycled and used it on this one. I understand that LR takes about 2 weeks to cure but it's only been 10 days. If I understand correctly the Ammonia would spike then decline then the Nitrites would do the same. Seems kinda fast considering I'm curing LR. I'm going to try using another kit to double check my Ammonia. Just doesn't seem like it should be so fast.
So any help as to where I am in the cyle would be great.

When I Tested w/ the Other kit the Ammonia lvl is .25

If you added something that was already cycled then it would shorten your cycle. Considering your ammonia is .25 and nitrites at .1 then your cycle is progressing but not yet done.

where did you get your live rock if it wasnt precured it will add more amonia and nitrites to your tank due to things dying on it

That filter already contains a mature colony of nitrifying bacteria.
That alone will start converting some of the ammonia in your tank from day one.
It should also help "jumpstart" your cycle by "seeding" your new tank.
So far evrything sounds like it's progressing nicely.
