That tank looks awesome! The fish look great as well! Are they awesome fish or what? Did you ask them if they were the Hans discus the German bred ones? Glad you decided to go with discus they're awesome looking! Like little water dogs they'll be feeding from your hand before you know it if they're not already.

Thanks! I've added a few more plants since taking that picture. And purchased a Blue pigeon blood today, he's in QT. I don't know if he is what they say he is tho bc I don't c blue anywhere in him lol

But yeah they're awesome fish, already eating out of my hand :) and no I forgot to ask if they were Hans discus

I have a blue blood pigeon he didn't show much blue at first just the orange but once he settled in his bottom and top fins turned vibrant blue he's one of my favorites

When your on your pc you should definitely post some pics of him and your tank with the new plants. Awesome job with the fish to told you you could do it!

I'll post up more pics as soon as I can :)

Fair play tank looks good, you made the right choice with the discus. They are really nice fish and the ones you have look like they will be beauties when they get big. Give yourself a pat on the back. ;-)

Your dices are reallly unique and vivid! I would love to have them! :) good finds

Thanks, I'm really pleased with them. I'm lucky my friend that I have known for years opened a aquarium shop 13 months ago and he specialises in discus, when I was looking for them he kept the best ones for me. I brought them at 2" and they are around the 4-5" I only paid 22 English pounds for them too -;)

Sorry stupid auto correct. I meant to say discus ! £22!! Theyre like £40 where I am

Yea they are where I live but like I say my friend has his own shop and as I'm such a good friend I get discount lol, plus I help out in the shop a lot as its only him on his own so I help clean tanks or cover the shop while he is at the wholesales. It's a fair exchange I think he he he.

I don't know how much £22 is in USA dollars but the cheapest discus I can find range from $18 all the way up to $200 lol depending on size and type
