Do fancy guppies need friends?

I got a pair of fancy guppies but after a few weeks the female died. The male seems okay to me, he is in there with 3 galaxy rasboras but they don't hang out in the same areas.

Is a guppy okay being solo or would he be happier with a pal?

Happier with a pal, but alone is fine too.


Do you want boys or girls? I am local remember and got fry in two different tanks now.

My guppies have always been fine by themselves, I usually like to have a lone fancy male in my tanks.
