Has anyone used dried tree leaves in their tank? I mean on the forum not ever. I bought some Indian almond leaves this summer and have added them for the first time today (trying just 6 for the moment in a 40 gallon). The cost on ebay wasn't too bad...but if I can save money then why not? I know oak and beech leaves can also be used. The problem for me is every tree in the neighborhood is maple. Would those work?
