I've used a product called stability by seachem and it worked wonderfully. most people here say not to use it but from
my own personal experience it's worked on 2 tanks
of mine and I have happy fish and good water perimeters

even though I use stability I still agree with you because waiting and doing it with just ammonia is the best way because you always get the results, just gotta have a lot of patience!!!!
