filter n sump?

How's everyone,does this blue filter go in this sump and if so does it take haroal to.or are the bio balls the only thing that filters in this sump?Thanks

Seems to me that Sump is missing some pieces there should be a tray at the top it sits in ...

You could probable make a tray from light diffuser grating for it to sit in if you don't have the tray. If you wanted to run charcoal you could by putting it in a bag under the bioballs. Otherwise, you can get a pad that is infused with charcoal and use that instead.
