Filter question

Would it be a good idea to run an undergravel filter with my HOB TopFin 60? It is a 55 gallon tank. I'm thinking another filter would add to the bio filter.

I think it would be a good idea to run another HOB, but UGF's are kind of difficult to maintain compared to a HOB filter.

I agree with mfdrookie516....UGF's are hard to keep clean.
Can't go wrong with a simple air driven sponge filter...lots a biological filtering.

An aquaclear 70 would be my suggestion.

IMO opposite sides will be better. Plus they will look better also.
