I have noticed when I watch my male betta in my 26 bowfront gallon that his long flowing tail keeps getting caught in the filter intake. He likes the spot right behind it(of course) :) and he sometimes gets caught. He struggles with it for a while and finally gets away. Is there anything I can do to the filter that it doesn't intake my betta?
It is a Aqueon 30 quiet filter, the platies(3) and plecos(2) have no problem with it and I did put a filter sponge thing in the out take so that the flow isn't too rough on him.
Any ideas are appreciated!
Thanks! :)

Thanks Again :)
He seems much happier and isn't getting sucked up the filter anymore.
