They're definitely dead. Those two calcareous algaes deposit calcium carbonate in their tissues and when they die, the calcium skeleton is left. It's a shame the condition they came in. I'd send a complaint/ask for a refund.

I've ordered twice from them. The first was pods and corals. The corals were dead in a week. The second was pods with a free zoa. The zoa dies in three days.
