How long does it take for Cichlid pellets medium-sized to dissolve

I dropped some alage tablets in a 55G to try and start alage and it took a good 3 days to dissolve some of it went on filter. It may take longer or shorter.

There is more to just dropping in an algae wafer. That will not make algae just start growing.

If you really want to cause an algae bloom increase natural sunlight to hit your tank and increase your lighting time. (make sure you are watching your water parameters EVERY day while doing this.)

I learned that dropping the algae water doesn't grow alage you are right :/ but my tank is by a window and a heater vent. I will do this thanks!!! ^_^
