Fish identification

Help identify this fish please. Shopkeeper said it's from China, wild caught.

It looks similar to a Bala shark! Could be mixed breed

Looks more like more sort of chineese algae eater. Is its mouth a sucker?

Not exactly true Siamese Algae eaters get huge up to 11 inches I had one so it could be a rainbow Chinese algae eater

It is a very close up picture which may make it seem bigger. Also, they can grow quite large, around 6-8". That one seems around 3-4"

Looks like some kind of Chinese algae eater (not Siamese algae eater).

It swims at the upper level of the tank, extremely powerful tail though

This apparently is something none of the shopkeepers kept before. It has a large mouth like a predator. But does not seem aggressive, powerful jumps.

It looks like a coldwater cypranid. I'd say pale chub(zacco platypus)

It's a freshwater minnow haha. Does anyone here know what conditions do I need to fufill for his upkeeping? What food does he need? I feed spirulina and worms, neither worked. There is a powerhead
