How much mor difficult would it be to have a saltwater tank compared to freshwater?

Imo saltwater is not any harder then freshwater once everything is established the only thing is to me is water changes might be harder on saltwater but only cause you have to mix your water with salt

I was Ascared of saltwater before I got started. I followed the "play book" and took my time and I have not had 1 problem at all. There is more $$$$ that will be sunk into a salt tank off the bat and the recurring cost of salt depends on how much you go though. I use 5 gal bucket every few months @ 48.99 per bucket.

The biggest difference that I found was that saltwater is much less forgiving of inattention or of bending the stocking "rules". I find you can get away with more stuff in a FW tank. Other than taking the time to understand the chemistry it is not hard - just less forgiving.

Petco and Petsmart dont have sw fish. Where do you all get yours?
