Gravel Question

I am looking to get some gravel for a new tank. I know some people buy gravel from the hardware store. What should I be looking for?

Also, if there is anybody from Vancouver could you let me know where the cheapest place to buy a new tank is. Thanks.

I've gotten sand from HD, but I don't know what to tell you about gravel :?

I recently switched all my tanks over from gravel to sand.

I bought this at my LFS for $29.99 for a 50lb bag, but have been told you can a 100lb bag for less then $30 at Home Depot.
