Growing algae

Do any of you all fertilize your african tanks to grow algae?

No. Lol my tank grows lots of it on it's own. I can't imagine if I fertililized it.

I don't do anything special for mine. I have 4 bulbs over the tank, 3 are daylight, 1 is one of those aquarium/plant bulbs. I get good growth on the rocks, a little on the front glass (I can see fish lip marks in it)

I notice in between feedings that some of my Africans graze on the algea on the rocks...they tend to act like they're starving 90% of the time...
