Reef Octopus BH-1000 is what i use on my 29g works great. Some of the best hang on back skimmers if you ask me.

+1 for the Octopus. It would be my first choice in a sumpless tank. Read the good and bad reviews like you would for any other product.

I would suggest AquarC Remora series for HOB and Octopus for in-sump.

+1 for reef octo as well. I have one for my 40g.

I've used an aquac remora for over a year and have had no issues. Does a great job IMO.
