Help ID Snail...ramshorn? plant friendly?

Hi There! I just found this guy in my tank. I think he/she/it (lol) is really neat looking. I think it is a Ramshorn but would lik confirmation...is this a plant friendly snail? I put it in a jar just long enough to take the pic, was never out of the water, I didn't want to damage it.

It does not seem to hide like the pond snails I have in there, although this one doesnt really blend in as well with the substrate. lol

edit: I just saw it attached to my anubia.....hopefully itis just eating the algae, if so I welcome the addition.

Looks to be a common ramshorn snail which is perfectly plant safe. It's the big ramshorn snails with stripes that are plant eaters.

really the marisa are the striped ones? used to have one... until the filter incident
