This all started when my daughter won FOUR fish at the farm show at a carnival game last August... We've kept 'em going and they've grown quite a bit. I've got the four of them in a 10gal glass tank. Can anyone tell me if I'm correct in thinking they're comets? I got one picture with a measurement for scale. Should I get these guys into a bigger tank? I'm still learning, and starting to get into it more...

Welcome! :) I'm not sure what kind they are, but someone else here will. Yes, they definitely will need a bigger tank, or depending on the species, a pond. Good luck and glad you found us!

Hi and welcome! Yes, you have common goldfish. They can grow quite large- up to 18inches and realistically belong in a pond environment. You will need a huge tank if you want to try & keep them (and keep them healthy). My suggestion would be to rehome them and research fish more appropriate for a 10g tank. Please ask if you have any questions!
