I previously had a 29 gallon setup and have recently moved to a 55 gallon planted aquarium

My husband and I's taste in fish are no where close to the same. I enjoy most community fish and he into odd ball things. My question stems from his snails... He has four of them (so far). As far as I can tell he has two black mystery snails and two gold mystery snails.

To complete water changes on my 55 gallon tank I have a 50 foot python water changer, and now he wants to use it in his tank. Is it ok to share things like this between the two tanks? I do NOT want snails in my new tank eating my plants...

Mystery snails lay large egg sacs. Looks like bubble gum outside of water just above waterline. Chances of any snails spreading are slim to none. They also don't eat plants unless they are dead.

What do fish say when they hit a wall? ...... Dam!
