Hitchhiker on snail

I noticed there is something stuck on the shell of my new snail. It moved independently of the snail. It seems suck to the shell but when the snail goes by something whatever it is will suck down to the shell. Thoughts? Is the whitish circle at the bottom midis of the shell.
