I noticed on the bottle when I bought it that it says refridgeration is recommended bu tnot required, so im wondering how many actually do this. Any ups to it?
The reason that Seachem recommends that you refridgerate the Flourish is to prevent "stuff" from growing in it and not to prevent it from growing bad. I forget what it is that can grow in the unrefridgerated Flourish, but it's by not harmful to aquariums just looks gross.
I never refridgerated my Flourish and don't currently refridgerate my CSM+B Solution either.
Gluconate and ETDA are broken down by bacteria with water, so this reduces it.
Dry trace ferts are cheaper and do not have such issues, and smaller amounts can be made up for liquid dosing.
