How to encourage my res to bask

My res is very skittish when it comes to people, sometimes when my family is downstairs she basks but not often, she really just does it in the morning.

But moving the tank isnt an option because idk if anywhere in my house could support her 75g, probably there is a place but i wouldnt fell comfortable with it.

Ive had her since august 2017 and shes pretty used to us, but how can i encourage her to bask?

She basks anywhere from 0-8 hours a day. How long should they bask?

Might just take time for her to adjust but are there any reflections she sees or is it possible to curtain off one side where she sees people? Some animals are just skittish I find but still do well.

Actually i guess that she got used to us, because i had to reach in the tank when she was basking and she didnt even jump off her basking spot. But thanks for replying.
