After so many posts about a bad advices given by LFS, I thought I put a bit of credit, because there are a really good ones out there 
I say this, because of my yesterday's adventure.... There's this shop a few miles from where I live - not really the closest one, but they really know what they're saying about the plants and the fishes, as I found out many times.
And yesterday a lady came over with a bit of water, saying that her fishes are dying. After checking the water it turned out it's the ammonia issue, and the first thing the shop owner say is: 'You need to do a big water change, at least 50%, more than once...'
Now I love "my" LFS even more!
