I have been lucky so far but I have bought several plants in the last few weeks and brought in some stowaways. I now have a pond snail and a rams horn. I have heard that they will not harm healthy plant material so I don't mind having them around. Is there a way to keep their population in check?

Other than introducing loaches or something, you can remove them by placing a piece of lettuce and leaving it in overnight

I heard that those snails will breed more if you over feed. There a good warning sign that somthing is going to go wrong soon :) I love my mini snails

I was thinking about loaches or bait but I don't want to wipe them out. I'd like to keep a small population.
