Hi,
I have lead strips holding a few plants down and a couple of air lines in the tank and wondering if I should get rid, all the levels are fine in my tank (nitrates etc) and fish are all doing fine, but now I have a bamboo shrimp and I've read they react badly to metals in the water. Does anyone know if lead 'leaks' into water? The lead strips I have are made for aquariums it's not lead for anything else. It's a 330 litre tank, PH is 7.3
Thanks in advance for advice.

they don't use lead anymore, it's zinc something or other, forget exactly but harmless to the tank, I always removed mine however, just thought the plants did better and looked more natural when not bound up
