Hi all so I was able to get a 20 gallon off craigslist so now I am in the process of making that a reef ????. Now I have to get the rest of the stuff and the first is a light lol. My budget is under $100 for now. Plus what power heads should I get I will be using a HOB for added flow to.

iPhone 5s has taking over lol

Well they be good for BTA in a year? I am gonna wait that long before I put one in the tank cause I know the tank has to be mature for one to go in.

Yeah they'll be good for any photosynthetic creature you'd like. And that's a good plan on the nem, refreshing to see for a change :D. What are your other plans for the tank? Is it running yet, and if so pics? ;)

My plan is

Tank 20 H

2 power heads I am thinking Kora Nanos

HOB for added flow and down the road a refru

HOB protein skimmer(trying to find one I like lol)

100w heater

Led lights(more than likely those)

5lbs Fully Cured LR
20lbs DR

1 to 1.5" LS bed

Refracometer

30 gallon Rubbermaid tub for mixing salt with power head and 100 w heater.

Coral Pro salt mix

Reef Master Test kit

Salifrin Test kits

RO/DI water once I can get a unit I will use RO/DI from LFS

Corals

Frogspawn

Hammers

Zoas

Toadstool

Mushrooms

Seeing I have owned them before in my 280.

Stock

Pair of clowns

Goby(either clown or watchmen)

Brittle starfish

BTA(either rose or green)

Cleaner shrimp

Red leg hermits

Turbo snail

And couple of other snails for my CUC

Not up yet but I will make a thread once it is :)

Honestly those lights have all the bells and whistles of a top end system, only thing missing is quality strong LEDs. They will pretty much limit you to softies and low light lps.

Bummer. Thanks tho!

I'll probably be going with the same 120W Dimmable Full Spectrum one too then!
