Hey All,

What do you do with leftover food?

I have frozen cubes of Mysis and Bloodworms, and currently only two clownfish (Eli and Peyton), two mushroom corals, a cleaner shrimp (Pierre Garcon), and 2 stars (Polamalu & TBD).

When I thaw a cube I only add a little at a time. They only eat about 1/8 to 1/4 of the food, and I have been dumping the rest down the sink.

Does anyone save theirs? If so what is the best way?

Thank you

Before I thaw it, I would cut it in half then cut that in half. Use the small portion n stick the rest back in the freezer

I eventually got tired of cutting cubes and bought 12 chromis to eat the excess

I do save food in the fridge(I use the cups like you would make jello shots in). I have 2 tanks and will use the rest the next day.

Plus I have a blue jaw trigger that I got very recently and I spoil him with 2 cubes of PE Mysis every single day because he's still in training but the chromis keep me from over feeding and that's there sole purpose. I just got tired of cutting the cubes into haves because I'm a perfectionist and I always got uneven cuts.
