They get a foot long and a bit aggressive. You'd need a big tank to house one properly.

I have one he is awesome and actually my favorite. He is a little aggressive, but it took a little training and lots of hiding places to keep him from attacking others. He is 4 years old and about 7inches. He is growing though, his bands are starting to split again. I have him in my 45g with tiger and albino tiger barbs, zebra danios, cories, white skirt tetras and bala sharks. The only ones he use to attack were the tiger barbs until I trained him to eat minnows. He is an awesome fish as long as you have the right size tank and tons of hiding spots. Ever since I gave him more caves he comes out more.

Thanks for your help! I guess he's not the right guy for me. He was ordered at my local PetCo, and I really wasn't sure about him! Nice Pic!
