Yeah. My wife and I want colorful fish and so far salt seems to be the way to go
 
Also make sure the colorful fish you want are suitable for a 90 gallon.
 
I was thinking a couple clownfish and maybe a few more types. No more than about 10 total
 
Here's a little bit of colour, but no coral in this tank!

I have a 75 I'm going to be setting up every time I think I have fish that I want for it I find more i want then have to alter the list.
 
I am thinking about royal grammas with the clowns. Not sure if they are compatible.
 
In a 90 gallon I would not go with a yellow tang they get big and quick. They are some nice smaller tangs like the bristle tooth or kole tangs.
 
Thanks for all the good advice tonight. I am probably a couple months away from starting it but I want all the info I can get ahead of time
