I have not had an aquarium for nearly 20 years. I would like to do a weather loach, hillstream loach, guppy and plant 55gallon aquarium. Does this work if I can compromise species needs at 72 degrees. Any advice would be appreciated.
68-70 degrees should meet the "happy medium". The weather loaches like cooler water, but will be OK at 70. I have had weather loaches with guppies before and did not have any issues. I cannot speak for the Hillstream loach because I have never had one.
Guppies: 64-82F
Weather loach: 50-82F
Hillstream Loach: 64-72F
