Looking for new stock advice

I'd love some ideas of what I could add to this 72g. I love my Gourami but I find the tank boring to look at.

Needs some color

Any thoughts/ideas?

I'd get some schools of community fish in there with some colour. Something with red tints. May harlequin rasboras.

Yeah, what you need is a good group of schooling fishes that add some color and activity to the tank. Neons, cherry barbs, various tetras would all work.

How many gouramis and what species do you have?

How long have you had the Gouramis ? I'm surprised the Opalines have started fighting. 3 Spot Gouramis, no matter what color variety, can be quite nasty to each other and even other fish in some cases.

I think you will enjoy having more color. I love Cherry Barbs. Just make sure you get plenty of females, not all males.
