Lost My Dwarf Gourami

I have read conflicting information about the life span of Dwarf Gouramis and I'm also unsure of how old they may be when you buy them from a fish store.

I think that I only had mine for about a year, but he was fairly large and seemed healthy, but I found him dead yesterday morning. I've had pretty good luck with my fish, so I was wondering if anyone had some good information on them.

Everything is fine with my tank.

Around four years is their normal lifespan. I'd be surprised if a store had it that long. Sometimes they just don't last that long.
