If I leave the water mixing overnight with a powerhead would I still need to use dechlorinator? Or does it evaporate out?

Oh right I didn't think about the ro filtering out chlorine as well.
Those filters are expensive.

They easily pay for themselves.

If you are using tap then i highly recommend using a dechlorinator like Seachem Prime. Tap has all kinds of things that are bad for a salt tank a good dechlorinator can atleast neutralize some of the bad things like ammonia and chlorine/chloramines.

If your are using RO then chlorine is filtered out in the process.

Dang that is a good deal!
And yeah I'm considering turning my freshwater 30 into a fowlr with just a fuzzy dwarf or Fu manchu lion and nothing else. The only thing is Fu manchus are supposed to be really hard to accept frozen.
