The kids Molly is having little molly fry. However she is eating them faster than I can get to them! I do have her in breeder box however it is missing the piece that separates them. I have managed to save about 10 so far. But have to get some sleep soon! I thought they had a hormone that makes them not eat the fry?

Its really common for them to eat their own fry. Its only by the time that they are bigger than the parents mouth that they won't eat them. You can try adding more plants or removing the mom into the breeder and fry into the tank? Don't know if she could escape or not, but worth a shot.

Anyways good luck with your fry!:)

Yes, some livebearers do eat their fry whilst giving birth, others don't. It is common though. Not all babies from a batch survive.

More babies? Lol
Tis the season for breeding I guess. you can try as suggested, get more brightly colored neon plants for your tank to give the fry a place to hide.
Its true that sometimes moms will try to eat the babies, I've noticed it more with Mollies than guppies. is she having them in the community tank?
