do red legged hermits molt?

I want to say all hermits, crabs, shrimp molt. I could be wrong? I see little hermit parts in the sand from time to time so either there left over body parts taht did not get eatten or its from the molt.

thanks. i figured the same. kind of a trip when you have 30 of them all molting in the same week.

I have 4 red scarlet hermits. I thought a mantis got the best of one of them because I found some legs and a shell the did not move for several days. But then a little while later, the shell moved and I have counted all 4, so I would go with yes they also molt.
