Mutated offspring

I have some ice blue cichlids. 1 male 3 females. One of my females was holding and i moved her to my fry tank to spit. She spit a few days ago and some of the fry came out without fins and some with no tails and a few with no eyes. Not sure if some of the other fry could have done this to them or not. Anyone with any ideas on this? Ive never had this happen before and im befuddled as to what happened here.

Oh ya i forgot to mention that the fry in question all died within an hour of the mom spitting them.

Yikes! Maybe mom nipped them all or she spit too soon?? Hope it goes better next time

I think she spit them too soon. I recently got a Kenyi from someone and when I was looking at his other fish I noticed a few with no tails. He told me they were born that way, the mom spit them too soon.
