Okay... So after testing myself 2 times each. My levels are.
Alkalinity-9.1DKH
Calcium-500+ppm(used all 1ml of titron and still didn't get blue color.)
Magnesium-1600

Yea! My freakin hydrometer was off .04! Would a 3 gallon pwc with fresh water be to sudden of a change?

IMO yes. I'd to a 1 gallon and see how much that lowers it. If it lowers it 1 point, i'd do one every day for the next 4

Okay sounds good. I think I'll get it to 1.024 or maybe a lil lower and then see where my calc alk and mag are.

Just checked the calcium of saltwater I mixed up to 1.022 and it's right at 500. I guess my batch has extra calc.

Got some sweet lookin new coralline popping up that's blue!!! Not bright blue but way more blue than the normal purple stuff. Also tons of little feather duster tubes. Its gotta be from all the extra calcium

Just got home from school and my birdsnest frag had fallen onto a ricordea! They both look a little bad. Are they gonna be okay? How bad is the ricordea sting?

Wish I knew, but I'm starting to learn that a lot of things will recover if given enough time.

I was fishing today and the tide was low. There were hundreds of thousands of cerith snails all over the rocks and sand. Could I take 15 or 20 and acclimate them to my tank?

I am always extremely weary of livestock directly from the ocean. . . Too many stories of unwanted hitch hickers wreaking havoc. Especially if it is taking a chance on an inexpensive item such such as snails.
