My 40 breeder reef tank

It's only at the base and doesn't seem to be spreading so I am going to wait and let time tell.

I know one of the bases of a duncan colony in my tank is like that. The larger, older colony has too many heads to be able to tell if it is the same.

It is progressing up my Duncan a little more, any opinions? Other polyps look good except for the one near the peeling.

Can either dip it in a product like coralrx or cut it off above the recession.
Is the head extending where it is receding?

No it is just glue that oozed out from under it.

The manager at the lfs today told me it is a stress related thing while I was there picking up water.

He said the frag was pretty new when I bought it so it was most likely stressed from being fragged.

I got some nice pickups today. I will post pics later. I got a orange Florida ricordea, Hollywood stunner chalice, and a bicolor torch frag.
