A while back I had about a dozen corys, and then some of them started losing their barbels and started to die off. I moved them to another tank and all but one died. Two made it fine in my main tank, and one survived of the ones I moved. It's been months and he's doing just great, but he hasn't grown his barbels back. Do I dare put him back in the main tank?

Barbel erosion is commonly due to high nitrates or rough substrate. Based upon the deaths I'd query your nitrate level and substrate condition/cleanliness.

Cynic, yes I know all that,I researched and found out all about the reason right away. It's all been corrected. What I am asking now is will his barbels grow back, and do I dare put him back in my main tank. Remember it's been months since this happened and he's just fine right now.
