My new (somewhat new) 90 gal reef tank

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

Ok. So my water levels were great this morning. Now- after moving the tank, they have skyrocketed. Wtf. While I moved the tank I did a PWC of 30 gallons. What should I do? Ammonia right now is less than .25ppm and nitrates shot up to almost 20ppm. Nitrites 0. Ph dropped to 8.0 with the PWC so I address chemicals for that. Please help

I would do another pwc and keep a close eye on the levels, you probably started a mini-cycle

Well, my water is back to fine today. Maybe a bad test? Or lack of sleep. Lmao. Fish and corals are all happy as can be as well. Gonna redo the rock work today. Will post pics later of my almost empty tank. Lol. Also, am going to pick up some tank mates for my clowns today after the water clears again

Well. The watchman goby has been at work I think- sand is kicked up all over. He's spitting it out left and right

Lol. Definitely a fish. And from the looks of him- very happy. My tank is cloudy from everything he is kicking up and my sand looks great!

I love this guy! Especially since it's around Halloween and it looks like he has a little eyeball staring at you ...

Is he venomous?

I once stepped on one in Egypt, still remember the pain. Slightly more than a bee sting, at least the one I met ;)

Lol. I'll keep my feet out of the tank! When I clean I'll keep my hands away as well. If he gets to big I'll put him in my sister's 180 gallon FOWLR

Nice work on your stand, and canopy. It is looking good! Is that your dining room table? If so that's a cool place for your tank.
