New 55 gallon

My family has recently purchased a 55 long! We are having fun with this project! My husband is busy building a stand. We did not get a top or hood with it so we are looking into making one as well! I am interested in see pics of other peoples. We are hoping to have it up and running by midweek. Plans are a fish in cycle with the guppies from our 29 gallon tank. I have a marineland hob canister filter. Trying to decide what fish to put in the new tank still.
