New 80 gallon (filters?)

I just got another 80 gallon and I don't have extra money as I just got a fluval 405 for my other 80 gallon

I am wondering if I can get away with an ac200 and an aqua tech 40?

If you stock lightly, you are going to need a bit more than that. Maybe pick up an AC70 they are not too steep.

If your on a tight budget just use sponge filters for biofiltration and the smaller Aquaclear for mechanical.

I doubt that an AC 70 (or smaller) will fit the rim, I have to use 110's on my 75's and 90's. Another option is the mattenfilter, essentially a giant sponge filter in one corner or end of the tank.

I was thinking about a DIY wet/dry but I think I might need to research more
