I recently ordered an in tank media rack for my biocube 14. It should be here in about a week. My tank is 10 months old and seems to be doing well. I'm ditching the balls and and filter pad(finally). I know your supposed to remove the balls slowly in an established tank but I was wondering if anyone has any pointers on preparation for the whole process. I've got about 15lbs of live rock that is completely covered in coralline algae. I'm just worried about my tank inhabitants and my corals throughout the whole process.

Im not an expert or anything but you should remove everything you dont want in there very slowly because everything is covered in good bacteria. If you move everything out all at once you could mess up the biological flitration. Hope i helped
