New member Betta owner of 1 month Fin rot possibility?

Meet Diva! I got her at a Pet co about half an hour away. She was in the. Bottom shelf where. Fish never even get seen, and I just fell in love with her. When I was attempting to breed her and my sister's male, he attacked her and when I scooped her out, she jumped out of the net and 3-4 feet onto the floor. Ever since then, she's been acting hyper up until a few days ago. Suddenly, she just hangs around the top of the water, and her fins look a little rough around the edges. I'm not sure, since she's a crowntail, but I don't know. I had to put her on a diet recently because I accidentally over fed her. She's in a 1-gallon tank with new decorations, so I hope she's okay aside from possible fibrotic. Official diagnosis?

It looks like you might be correct about the fin rot. I would probably do daily water changes to keep things as clean as possible and wait to see if it gets any worse.

Do daily water changes and vacuum gravel frequently. And cross your fingers.
