Nuphar Japonica

Nuphar Japonica (some call it "Spatterdock")

Does anyone know how to propagate this plant? I haven't been able to find much info on it.

I think this might be one of those plants that requires cross-fertilization above the water's surface, which is hard to do in an aquarium. Not positive, though, so hopefully someone else has some ideas.

i think some people used que tips... my apogoton flowered but i didnt feel like trying to brush it

Has anyone kept this plant? If so were you able to get it to propagate? I would love to learn more about it. It is the coolest plant in my tank.

I have only found pictures and a few words about this plant from the web, so I have turned to you.
