One of my male bristlenose' seem to be breathing heavilly

he looks fine otherwise.. I started co2 injection a couple of days ago... nobody is at the surface gasping or showing signs of distress in tank.

any advice? or do they always breath heavy?
 
Breathing heavy is a sign of distress. I don't know much about CO2 stuff, but I would guess it'd be a good idea to stop the CO2 injections to see if he stops breathing heavy. Double check water parameters.
 
CO2 levels does not effect O2 levels. CO2 would have to be oftly high to effect your fish. You can test your levels by testing PH and Kh. What are your ammonia nd nitrtes? Though I am sure they are fine with all that growth you have.
