Peacocks/bloodworms

Hey,

My local petco said I can give my peacock cichlids bloodworms. I picked up a bottle but havent given the worms to the fish yet since reading it up online and see mix reviews that it causes bloat n what not. Im a bit hesitant. Whats your take?

I give mine frozen bloodworms everyone in awhile as a "treat" but they certainly dont need them. I think it's just fun to watch em go nuts for them!
